Michael D. Leikness

Funeral Director

Michael has been a licensed funeral director since 1982. He purchased the funeral home from the Ayars family on May 1, 1985.

Michael is married to Dr. Mary (Hallman) and they currently reside in Wautoma.They have one daughter, Sarah Leikness.

In January of 2003 Michael and Jeffrey formed a partnership and built Leikness and Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. In February of 2005, Michael, Jeffrey Stahl and Mark Putskey opened Pine Grove Crematory in Wautoma.

Jeffrey J. Stahl

Jeffrey has been associated with the Leikness Funeral Home since 1993 and became a licensed funeral director in 1996. He was born and raised in Wautoma and is a graduate of Wautoma High School.

Jeff is married to Angela Hirst and they have two children, Brady and Ava. His parents are John and Nancy (Schley) Stahl and he has an older brother, Dean.

Jeff is a business partner with Michael Leikness in the Leikness and Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield and also business partners with Michael Leikness and Mark Putskey in the Pine Grove Crematory, Wautoma.

Sarah H. Leikness

Licensed Funeral Director

Sarah is the daughter of Michael and Dr. Mary Leikness and is a 1999 graduate of Oshkosh Lourdes High School, a 2003 graduate of Marquette University and a 2005 graduate of Milwaukee Area Technical College. She currently resides in Wautoma where she is a member of the Waushara County Chamber of Commerce Board.

Mark Putskey

Funeral Director Assistant

Mark has served as funeral director assistant since 2000. He is married to Jane (Pfaller) and they have two sons, Nick and Nathan. They currently reside in Wautoma.

Mark is in partnership with Michael and Jeffrey in Pine Grove Crematory of Wautoma.
